Lesson 3: Scientific Method to Explore Effects of Shape, Weight, Potential Energy & Friction
Lesson Objectives:
Articulate information about what a ramp and why ramps are important
Suggest options for increasing the speed of an object on a ramp and evaluating the results
Materials Needed:
NoRILLA/Smart Ramps
Pre-built objects/cars
drawing paper
crayons, markers, etc.
Building materials such as Legos, paper plates, cardboard, cereal boxes, origami paper, toilet paper rolls, tape etc.
Rulers or snap cubes for measurement

Evaluating the results of tests of the impacts of different materials on movement of an object on a ramp
